Winning Appliances Redfern

I’ve been dealing with Martin Hejl, Product Expert, at Winning Appliances in Redfern for the past 2 weeks. We are finally renovating our apartment & have been discussing our kitchen & laundry project needs & have just made our appliance selections today. Martin has been wonderful to deal with all through this time - extremely knowledgeable, patient, & professional in his approach to providing us with the service we needed. We met with him once in the showroom, where he showed us the appliances that I had previously selected & listed in my online project (a great Winnings tool that allows you to list, share & compare products). After consulting with Martin, we made a couple of changes to these product selections - he was able to guide us to select a couple of more appropriate products which we are happier with, so a great outcome. You do need to ask the right questions to end up with these outcomes, but I was extremely impressed with the extent of Martin’s product knowledge, especially when I was concerned about negative feedback that had been written about some of the laundry products we started to explore. He was able to break down the key aspects of the feedback & address each point in detail - super impressive! After the initial face to face meeting in the showroom, all interactions were via email, & Martin was super responsive. Always replying promptly. We spoke via phone to arrange the deposit & delivery details when I had made the product selections. What a civilised & pleasant shopping experience - thanks Martin, & thanks Winnings!

After spending in excess of $10,000 with Winnings Appliances and Appliances online in one day, I received a text message that they didn't receive $73 from my PayPal order. I simply went through the Winnings checkout and PayPal automatically deducts the funds, I had no input. I ring the Redfern store to ask how is it possibly my fault when it's the Winnings checkout that contacts PayPal and handles the transaction, and my call was received by one of the rudest persons I have ever encountered in customer service who proceeded to berate me and telling me I had purposely not paid the $73, So much for “Winning Appliances is committed to providing world-class service”. The instore service was very helpful but your phone service is appalling.

Unfortunately our recent experience with Winning Appliances was absolutely appalling. They are so helpful when they are making the sale however once you’ve paid, you no longer can expect any level of service. I’m not even going to go into the details of what went wrong as it is so long winded and ridiculous, it seems made up! The after sales service from a company that prides themselves on their “exceptional customer service” was diabolical and the staff’s incompetence honestly mind blowing. If it were possible to give a zero star review, believe me, I would! My advice to anyone considering shopping with Winning Appliances would be JUST DON’T!

So read many reviews below, and can’t seem to understand why, are they talking about the same place I bought my appliances from? My experience was amazing, from front desk to Pedro the salesman with his knowledge, through to delivery which was very streamlined. One thing I learned was to get your orders in months in advance so you are not waiting. Well done team on getting my home delivered.
